Rock en Seine

Here is a poster I have designed for Deap Vally who are appearing at the Rock En Seine festival in a few weeks. A whole host of artists have produced posters for each act. Produced in only three hours - its good to work quickly now and again

Fete season has begun

I often get asked to design and print posters for local events, which I am happy to do. here is one for the local school fete. I am not the only designer/illustrator in the village - I share my responsibilities with friend, neighbour and amazing talent, Jenny Bowers from Peepshow, expect a collaboration soon!

Strange Brew

Final preparations are being done for my new show, Strange Brew with the Yule Bringer, Adam Higton. The show opens on Good Friday (private view Thursday 5th) at the Here Gallery in Stokes Croft, Bristol. Here is one of the collaborative prints we have made for the show.

V&A Family Art Fun

Nothing But Navy

Gemma Kay Waggett is not only a very talented retail and interior designer but she also opens her own pop-up shop from time to time: Nothing But Navy. I have just created this tea towel for her next shop eventwhich will be open in Shoreditch from Friday 30th March to Wednesday 4th April. Motre details soon. For now check out my shop!

Strange Brew

As one show closes at the end of the week (Unplanned Magic) so another begins... Strange Brew. This is a joint show with an amazingly talented young wizard by the name of Yule Bringer (www.yulebringer.com) I will be tapping into my cosmic side to brew up some new collaborative prints and more. Planned Unplanned Magic

Unplanned Magic is coming to London. Following on from my show in Ludlow last year, I will be exhibiting a selection of artwork from the original show alongside some new screen prints. The show is opening on Thursday 9th of February at the newly refurbished Red Gallery, 3 Rivington Street, London. EC2A 3DT

Lucky

I am currently researching a project at the V&A Museum, it is an amazing place, I never tire of going there. More on the project(s) soon

Xmas come early

I am not a big fan of celebrating Xmas early, a week before is plenty of time to get the decorations up. However I don't like the idea of the last minute dash so it's good to get the preparations done early. With this in mind I have collaborated with the brilliant Jenny Bowers to create this Xmas stocking, available now on my shop.

Fireworks

As party of my community design project (it's either this or clip art fudged together on a PC!) I have designed the local Fireworks display poster. Not screen printed this time unfortunately.

Open - Unplanned Magic

My new show has opened at the Material Gallery in Ludlow. Thanks to Lucy & Joe for organising and providing a cider fueled private view on Friday night. The show is running until Nov 5th. Limited edition hand printed notebooks and tea towels will be available on my shop this week.

Busy printing in the heat for a new exhibition starting next week... its all coming together layer by layer.

Unplanned Magic

Certainly unplanned, and hopefully magic! Its my new joint show with the extremely talented artist and fellow screen printer Kate Gibb. We are having simultaneous exhibitions in Ludlow and even have some collaborative screen prints on offer - more information soon...

Keeping it local

I designed the local Fete poster, which is a nice two colour screen print. It's nice to use old media for traditional events, now if I can just get my hands on some of that woodblock type rumoured to be withing spitting distance of my studio... and it goes without saying if you live in the area, pop along and you can have one.

100 project - bid now!

One of my last Autumn prints is up for auction at The 100 Project in aid of The Princes Drawing school. They are aiming to send 100 kids from the east end to school, so a good cause.
